2012 trophy 220

« on: June 03, 2011, 04:21:34 PM »

left the inlet 530am with a friend today made a left and we were surrounded by bunker flying all over the place.  You could hear giant WHOOSHES all around and we snagged and dropped em while stocking up for later.

Hooked up with 3 big bassh for next 2 hours and dropped a few livelining.  We would be with just 3 or 4 boats and next thing the fleet would rush in and chase em away.

The bite died around noon and we used our Maja spoons in 35-40 feet and we got a few more and lost a few more.

Was a great day for me and I learned alot!!!  Got my personal best with a 32#'r.

Oh yea and did anyone else see the whale feeding while we fished along side of it off the park beach?  That was cool, thing almost crashed on a few boats!
