Despite strong winds Prowler 5 faired well on the fluke bite with 100 keepers aboard. The evening 3:30 trip, Capt. Scott was at the helm and it was blowing 25 to 30 out of the south. They had to fish a local bluefish spot because of the rough seas and that strong south wind. Captain Scott stayed on one spot all night with double anchors and boated 50 bluefish plus one 25 lb. striped bass which took tonight's pool Marcos Valdeci of Mecranicsville, VA. Thanks. Capt. In Memory of John Cohen

We here at NJ Saltwater Fisherman would like to take this time to remember John Cohen (JC).

It was August 26 2007 that the accident occurred on the intra-coastal waterway in Little Egg Township that claimed John's life. John left behind 3 girls, Donna, his lady of 12 years, his daughters, Courtney and Caitlyn, along with thousands of friends and fellow Union Brothers.

We all probably like to sit down and read the Sports section or a fishing magazine to try to get an edge. The problem is that data cannot be verified and is "old."
